First Impression & DabbleBet Registration

First Impressions of DabbleBet’s Website

DabbleBet is easy on the eye with a clean design and subtle colour palette for a fresh look. The header is bold, holding links to the most popular sports betting markets. You’ll find in play betting, football, horse racing, tennis and golf, as well as other popular markets. From the homepage you can also access the DabbleBet casino with its wealth of table and slot games. We’ll touch on that a little later in this DabbleBet review.

Promotions can be accessed from the homepage, opening up a world of extra bets and bonus funds. This follows a similar navy, pink and grey colour scheme that we found on the home page. While the number of promotions was small, affecting our DabbleBet ratings for them, they are good deals, particularly the DabbleBet welcome bonus which gives £20 extra for two £5 sportsbook bets.

DabbleBet Review: Website Useability

Finding everything we were looking for on the DabbleBet website was easy, which is a testimony to how good the betting site is.

As part of our DabbleBet sportsbook review, we examined the betting markets around, finding we could easily switch between the in play action and pre-betting markets. The website loaded quickly with each click, meaning live betting was a delight to use, updating swiftly so we could make the most of our betting strategies.

Registering at DabbleBet

So how easy is it to register? Well, it took us less than a minute to do so. The registration form can be found by clicking the purple ‘Join Now’ button at the top of the home screen and consists of three pages. One for your personal details, one for your card details and one to deposit and claim the sign up bonus. You can register online using your laptop or PC or using DabbleBet mobile on your phone or tablet.

Once registered, you can take advantage of the DabbleBet bonus which gives you three extra wagers when you make two £5 deposits. .

DabbleBet Bonus Offer

DabbleBet’s Welcome Offer Explained

When it comes to matched welcome offers, most of them offer between 50% and 100% back as an additional bet. With DabbleBet, their bonus exceeds this amount, offering 200% back on your initial stake.

Sign up with DabbleBet and make a £10 minimum deposit. £5 of this needs to be wagered on a qualifying sports bet, which awards you bonus funds of £5 to spend on football.

Following this, you can wager another £5 on a qualifying sports market, giving you two extra bonuses in one go. The first is a £5 mobile betting bonus for an in-play football market. The other is a £10 casino bonus to be spent on any casino bet you like.

What we really like about this welcome deal is the fact that it gives you the chance to try out various areas of the Dabblebet website so you can judge for yourself if you can call DabbleBet trustworthy.

The Welcome Bonus in Detail

DabbleBet’s welcome bonus has a few terms and conditions attached to it. Here are the key bits of information you need to know.

DabbleBet awards your first bonus when you spend your £5 on a sports bet with odds at 2.0 (evens) or above. This can be on any betting market, but must not be cashed out early. Multiple-bets are accepted.

The second qualifying bet holds similar betting terms and conditions to the first qualifying bet. Like the first you must wager on 2.0 (evens) or above, and your wager must be on an in-play sports betting market. The second qualifying bet must be made on a mobile to receive the bonus funds.

A bonus of £5 is given after you place your first qualifying wager. This must be spent on a football market with odds no higher than 7/1.

A bonus of £5 will be given after your second qualifying bet. This bonus must be on a football in-play market and placed using your mobile.

A bonus of £10 will be given alongside the second £5 sportsbook bonus. This bonus can only be spent on casino wagers and must be played through 20x before it can be withdrawn. Only some casino bets count towards this wagering requirement.

DabbleBet App & Mobile

A Great All-Rounder

Most bookmakers have a mobile app, and DabbleBet is no different. If you’re a mobile player, you’ll find a Dabble Bet app for both Android and iOS. These are available in the Google Play and the Apple store. We downloaded the app on our Android device to test it, and were pleasantly surprised by the way it ran.

The first thing we found was how similar it looked to the original website. The colour scheme was the same, and the same promotional deals were available on it that you’d see on the main website. We’re told that the mobile version of the site also sometimes has its own promotions, which we recommend you keep a look out for.

If we’re honest, we’d say we preferred the mobile version of the website because of how easy it was to scroll through the individual bets instead of having a page filled with them. Live betting was also enhanced by the 4Cast tab, which allowed us to watch live streaming of our wagers directly on our mobile.

The App in More Detail

When logged into the app, it was clear that they tried to cram as much information into one place as possible. The app had every betting market that you’d find online, with some great use of the scroll bar and a side menu to access everything you’d like to. The main selling point of a mobile app will always be its ability to wager while on the go, and for this purpose, the app is perfect.

Odds are as you’d expect on mobile, and in line with the main site. You can also take advantage of the fantastic sportsbook and casino sign up bonus that we mentioned earlier. We couldn’t find any reason not to use the app, and preferred int when compared to the mobile site because of its added flexibility of betting on the move.

DabbleBet Specials & Extras

A Comprehensive Selection of Casino Games

One of the added features of the DabbleBet website is their casino. The content of which is really great if you’re a fan of slots. You’ll find almost 300 different slot games on the casino section of DabbleBet’s website. Many of these are from world leading software providers such as NextGen and Microgaming, and include the huge progressive jackpot game Major Millions. This is responsible for the biggest slot win of all time.

One of the other great things about the casino is DabbleBet’s live casino, which like their live sports betting aims to bring you, the punter, closer to the betting action. The live casino features roulette, baccarat, blackjack, a money wheel dream catcher and poker. These are again hosted by reputable, UK based software providers for reliability and peace of mind. Overall, we were very impressed with the content available to the DabbleBet customers, allowing for a perfect balance for those who are fans of both sports and casino fun.

DabbleBet Social Media

Scroll around the DabbleBet website and you’re likely to find links to follow DabbleBet on social media. They have an online presence on Twitter and Facebook, with both of these used to promote their latest big promotions and odds. The social media information is quite serious in tone, which is a change from many bookmakers who try to have a laugh and a joke with their players online. While this sets them apart from other bookmakers, it may be a bit too dry to attract lots of new fans.

DabbleBet Payments & Limits

Payment Options at DabbleBet

One of the weakest parts of our DabbleBet review were the bookmakers payment options. While most bookmakers will offer multiple payment choices, adding ewallets and even cryptocurrency to the options, DabbleBet doesn’t. In fact, on their website there are just two payment options; credit and debit cards. This is a huge shame, but is not unexpected given that the bookmaker is rather new.

While some will view this as a negative point, we like to look on the bright side at Betastic. The payment methods chosen by DabbleBet are reliable. It’s unlikely you’ll have a problem using them, but if you did have an issue, they’re used commonly enough that a solution can be sought easily.

They’re also generally fee free, which is a big bonus for most online bettors, particularly those who deposit and withdraw money from their bookmaker of choice regularly.

Depositing and Withdrawing

Depositing using the DabbleBet site should take seconds. You type in your card number, type in how much you’d like to deposit and the CVV number and confirm the wager. The minimum you can deposit is £10. No maximum is listed.

For withdrawals, again the limit is set at £10 as a minimum and the maximum you can win daily is capped at £100,000. Withdrawals are processed within 24 hours of their request, and funds should arrive in your account within 48-72 hours, which we think is pretty quick.

Lastly, you’ll need to check with your payment provider to see if they charge fees for placing a deposit or withdrawal to a bookmakers website. DabbleBet do not charge fees themselves.

DabbleBet Customers Support & VIP

Customers May Wait at DabbleBet

Customer Service at DabbleBet is a basic affair, but should provide all you need if your queries are not urgent. You have two main options available to you. The first is the DabbleBet live chat, the other is the DabbleBet contact us form. Both of these are manned by the customer service team for ten hours a day, between office hours. This is not ideal if you tend to play during the evening, as replies won’t be given to your queries until the morning at the earliest. The website has its own FAQ section, though, which should answer most basic queries.

We would have been happy to see a DabbleBet contact number available, but on searching, the only number we could find was the head office. This is a shame, and something that may be introduced to the website later on as they continue to establish their online betting services.

How is Coral’s live game?

No Coral sportsbook review would be complete without a look at live betting. With Coral being one of the largest bookmakers out there we were expecting big things. Thankfully Coral delivers. Live betting is displayed on the home page and on the sports page.

The first thing we discovered was you could change how live bets are displayed on your screen to make them easier to see. There’s a list view, which we found cluttered, an event view which would come in handy for an event with a lot of competitors. Our personal favourite is multi-view. This lets you add up to eight individual events you are following from a drop down list of all current live events. Odds for each possible outcome are listed in their individual windows and you can cash out with one-button click. This is the easiest way to watch live betting. Well, unless you have live streaming.

Live streams can be found under the sports tab where a ‘watch now’ button gives you access to the streams. To watch any live streams you’ll need to wager at least £1 on a single wager, £2 on a double. Live streaming is only available on UK and Irish horse racing.

No VIP

At DabbleBet there is no VIP section available to players. But this is not necessarily a bad thing. Often with VIP offers, players have to play for a considerable amount of time to move through the different levels of VIP status before reaching extra bonuses and other perks. With Dabblebet, this is removed. All bookmaker bonuses are available straight away, regardless of whether you’ve been on their website one year or one minute. Now that sounds like something we can get on board with.

DabbleBet Licenses & Safety

A UK License For DabbleBet

When it comes to licenses, few compare to one from the UK Gambling Commission. This regulator has some of the strictest gambling rules in the world, stringently checking all bookmakers that fall under their jurisdiction. DabbleBet is one of these bookmakers. They only hold a license in the UK, serving UK customers with a website tailored to suit their British audience.

The license for DabbleBet was awarded to their owning company FSB Technology UK in 2017, although the business has been in operation since 2007. FSB was formed by a group of sports betting veterans who have experience and a proven track record in the technology industry. It’s no wonder then, that their live betting and mobile app are so responsive.

This experience has allowed DabbleBet to develop ways to protect their website from cyber attack. Personal data is kept safe using SSL encryption, and by using credit and debit card players are using a reliable payment method which is traceable and secure.

Safe Gambling Online

Like all responsible bookmakers, DabbleBet helps their players control their gambling and provide support to those struggling. One of the ways they do this is through a questionnaire designed to highlight a player’s problem gambling. This questionnaire provides insight into your own betting habits and can help you identify if a problem exists.

Other responsible gambling measures added by DabbleBet allow you to determine betting limits, which you can add to your account simply and self-exclusion to remove yourself from the website for a fixed amount of time. A link to gambling support from Gamstop is also available on the DabbleBet site.

DabbleBet Sports Betting

Betting Markets

DabbleBet’s Betting Markets

Next up in our DabbleBet review is their betting markets. So is DabbleBet a good betting site in this regard? Our overall opinion is the jury is out.

While DabbleBet have a nice selection of betting markets, they can’t possibly compare to the bigger names in betting. Those guys at William Hill and Betfair squash DabbleBet’s 24 betting markets into dust. But that doesn’t mean that there’s nothing of value here. DabbleBet is a UK bookmaker, catering to a UK only audience. This means football, horse racing and rugby are heavily featured on their website, with football being by far the biggest mover on the website.

These football markets give larger bookmakers a run for their money with the sheer number of tournaments and leagues available to bet on. We counted a whopping 71 different league tables you can bet on, from everyone’s favourite the Premier League right to the Uzbekistan Pro League.

What Bets Does DabbleBet Offer?

Like most bookmakers, DabbleBet has a great selection of betting options available. While football gives you the opportunity to wager on winners, goalscorers and scoretime bets for both halftime and full time, rugby focuses more on the number of tries and handicap markets.

You can place wagers in single bets, which for horse racing consist of a win or each way bet. You can also combine various selections in an accumulator bet, which increases in value with each additional bet added to your bet slip. With these, though, the larger the accumulator, the less chance of success as odds rise and can become astronomical.

A good alternative for conservative bettors is a multi-bet. DabbleBet allow you to place these combination bets, which can consist of two or more different bets to cover a number of outcomes. An example of these would be a bet that covers three horses in four individual wagers. These are broken down into three double bets and one treble bet, otherwise known as a trixie bet.

DabbleBet Betting Odds

Average Odds at DabbleBet

Most bookmakers struggle to differentiate themselves from the pack when it comes to odds. This is also the case with DabbleBet. The problem arises from a bookmakers’ profit margin. Each bookmaker has to carefully crunch the numbers to ensure that they still come out with a reasonable profit and don’t lose out overall on a bet. Occasionally, the opposite happens and a bookmaker is thrown by an event happening as it was not expected to happen, but by keeping the reins on their other odds, the loss is absorbed by others performing as they should.

To glean extra value from your odds, look out for an odds promotion that boosts the odds of a specific market. The bookies have calculated these to make sure they still make a profit, but take a hit on what they otherwise would receive. The bonus is, though, an increased number of bettors taking up the deal. DabbleBet don’t seem to use these offers on their website, or at least, there weren’t any at the time of checking. This caused DabbleBet to lose a few points in our odds rating.

Limits

The associated deposit and withdrawal limits for the sportsbook have been outlined under our Payments & Limits section. However, it’s important to know exactly what the limits are before entering into a transaction. For deposits, the minimum limit is £10 while there is no max limit – at least nothing that is clearly outlined the Dabblebet website.

Withdrawals have clearly specified minimum and maximum limits. A £10 minimum limit has been implemented, while punters can withdraw up to £100,000 at a time.

It’s possible to manage your limits by setting a daily/weekly/monthly limit on your account.

Live Betting & Streaming

DabbleBet Live Betting in More Detail

Next under our scrutiny is live betting, which is a type of bet that has become a fundamental part of any betting website.

With live betting on DabbleBet you can be sure to find the popular markets included. We found bets for tennis, football, baseball and basketball. While there is no indication if other sports are included in live betting, it’s good that the essentials are covered.

The live betting section of the website allows you to select wagers just by clicking their respective odds. The bet is transferred to the betting slip at the bottom of the page in the normal way. After this, it’s just a matter of typing in your stake and confirming the bet and you’re done.

Get More Through Live Streaming

While live streaming is featured on the website, allowing you to pick up football bets using the 4Cast link, we could only find one other sport involved in live streaming. This sport was tennis. It was unclear during our time on the website and app if any other sports were streamed live. For this reason, we marked our live betting and streaming rating conservatively, just in case.

Product Summary & Conclusion

We recommend the Dabblebet sportsbook to punters who enjoy traditional sports such as football, rugby, and horse racing. In this regard, Dabblebet has hit the nail on the head. You’ll find a wide choice of bet types for these sports and can expect decent odds in the process. There are quite a few options for punters who like to make use of in-play bets, and one can find a range of markets in this regard.

For punters who prefer variety, Dabblebet might not be the bookie for you. This is also true for live streaming services – only football and tennis seem to be featured.

Dabblebet continues to provide a reliable betting service to online punters, but have yet to shift gears and remain somewhat static in terms of innovation.

Conclusion

DabbleBet Scored 76 out of 100 Points in Our Test

When it comes to the crunch, DabbleBet scored an average 76 out of 100 points in our review. While the bookmaker had a bit of a mixed-bag when it came to their content, the majority of results were mediocre, with few performing better than others. The exception to this rule was the online licensing and site safety, which scored 10 out of 10. We don’t know many bookmakers that would score quite so highly in this regard, so we were very impressed.

DabbleBet Strengths and Weaknesses

When it came to the website strengths and weaknesses a lot of love has to go to the bookmakers’ bonus, which gave a 200% markup on your initial deposit of £10, and was also very simple to use. No bonus code made opting into the deal simple, and betting markets involved were reasonable too. The only downside was the 20x wagering requirement for the casino bonus. It would have been nice if there was no wagering requirement at all, although we do recognise that it is lower than most bookies.

On the negative side, we were a little disappointed to find some of the bookmakers fundamental services were lacking. Payment options were very limited, although allowing just credit and debit card payments would undoubtedly help website security. The other concern was customer service, which could benefit from a dedicated telephone line and 24/7 support so the bookmaker was in line with others in the industry. Overall, though, we were still impressed that a one-year-old bookmaker has so much going for it.
