ComeOn is based in Malta and provides online betting to the European market. But is ComeOn legit? They’re licensed by the Maltese Gaming Authority, one of the industry’s more reputable license providers. Throughout our ComeOn review we’ll look at all the great things (and not so great things) the bookmaker offers on their website, and see how they compare to our comparisons of other providers, such as our Coral review.

From ComeOn sportsbook to ComeOn mobile app, we’ll let you know exactly what the bookmaker provides and score each section with our own ComeOn ratings. So let’s get started with a summary of the bookmaker’s strengths and weaknesses.

First Impression & Registration

A First Glance at ComeOn

During our ComeOn review we found a website that looked sleek and modern with promotions scrolling across the screen and 38 betting markets available to bet on. This is a bookmaker with its’ finger on the pulse, and it shows.

The homepage has everything a new player could want. It is roughly divided into four sections with the left-hand pane containing all of the sports markets, the right hand pane has current promotions on it and houses a space for your betting slip. In the middle are live betting markets, of which ComeOn have plenty. Above all this is the site header, where you can find links to sports, in play betting, the Come On casino, their live casino and their promotions page. more on that in a moment.

Using The ComeOn Website

We were keen to know how easy it was to use the ComeOn website so we can pass this information on to you. We were pleasantly surprised. The first thing we did was register on the bookmakers; website, which took mere moments. After this, we visited the promotions page, which had deals that covered a wide range of betting markets. It was clear that the website was designed with sports fans in mind, and was quick to navigate throughout.

One of the best features of the website was the Fantasy Sports section, which gives players the chance to select fantasy football teams for free, with the best teams winning a £10 bet. It’s rare that a bookmaker gives something away for absolutely nothing, so it’s great to see this feature during our ComeOn sportsbook review.

Creating a ComeOn Login

Registering on the ComeOn website can be done by clicking ‘Join us’ in the login button at the top of the homepage. Once you’ve clicked this, you’ll be asked to add a username, email address and password. If you have a voucher code there’ll also be an opportunity to type this in, too. It’s a quick and easy process, similar to the one seen in our Dafabet review.

The Bonus Offer

A Matched Bonus For All

Next to come up against our ComeOn ratings is their exciting bonus offer, which is a 100% matched bet for new customers only. The sign up bonus gives players £10 back once they make their first deposit and spend £10 on any sports bet that has qualifying odds. While this isn’t the largest bonus you’ll ever receive, it is a simple bonus to get, requiring you to just make a wager to receive it. There’s no bonus code required, and no never-ending hoops to jump through, proving ComeOn trustworthy in our eyes. Let’s take a look at the bookmakers’ deal in more detail, to see if it’s a worthy addition to the ComeOn website.

The Matched Bonus In More Detail

So let’s get to the nitty-gritty of the bonus deal. The first thing you need to know about it is that you need to make a deposit of at least £10 using a credit or debit card. No other payment method will be accepted for the sign up bonus. You have 14 days from signing up on the ComeOn website to make this deposit and qualify for the sportsbook bonus.

You’ll then need to wager this deposit on any sports bet with odds of 1.8 or above. It’s pretty cool not to be restricted with the sports you can wager on, as some bookmakers specify bets must be on football or horse racing, etc. One caveat, though, is that the £10 can only be wagered on Win bets. You can’t use your funds for an each-way bet for this deal. You also can’t cash out your qualifying bet early.

Once your sports bet has been settled you’ll receive a matched bet of £10 within 24 hours. This can be used in one bet or over multiple bets and can be spent on any sports bet you like. You can also use it on any odds, making it a less restrictive wager than the qualifying bet. Both single and multiple bets are allowed. If you’re looking for a sports bonus to compare this one to, take a look at our Fun88 review.

App & Mobile

No Mobile App, No Problem

Most bookmakers offer a mobile app which allows you to place your wagers from the comfort of your own phone. But while ComeOn doesn’t have their own app for this purpose, you can place wagers on your mobile by logging into the mobile website. One of the bonuses of using a website rather than an app, is the reliability. You won’t have to wait for an app to update, because you’re not using one. Instead, just log in and you’re ready to play. This is ideal for last minute bettors that can’t afford to hang around.

Wondering if you can call ComeOn trustworthy on mobile? We found little to complain about. When it comes to the mobile site, you’ll find that it looks very similar to the online page. The website follows the same colour scheme and rough layout as the original site, and you can even complete similar functions to those available on the full site. All you need is to have is an internet connection and an Android or iOS phone to get started.

Bet In Play On Mobile

While it goes without saying that most bookmakers have in play betting online, not all of them have embraced the technology required for successful mobile in play betting. But by using a mobile website, rather than an app, ComeOn have negated many of those issues. When testing out the mobile website we were pleased to see that the same live markets you would find online were available, and they all updated quickly, allowing you to wager on in play bets on the go with total peace of mind.

Specials & Extras

Cash In at the Casino

When you’re competing with the likes of providers such as our Paddy Power review, you have to offer your customers something different. As mentioned earlier, ComeOn have their own casino which has over 500 slots and table games. Each of the games are categorised to make them easier to find. Jackpot games are separate to all the others, and those which have a cutesie theme can be found under the ‘soft games’ category. For those who have their own favourite game provider you’ll find each of these categorised, too. Brands such as NetEnt, Yggdrasil, Play’n Go and progressive jackpot king MicroGaming are all featured on the website.

Perhaps the most interesting part of the casino, though, is the live casino section which houses 19 games from roulette to blackjack, poker to baccarat. Each of these live games has their own dealer who connects to you via video link for a truly immersive betting experience. You don’t have to have a huge budget either. Table games start at £1.

ComeOn’s Social Media

Scroll to the bottom of the sportsbook or casino page and you’ll find links to ComeOn’s Facebook, Twitter and blog. On Facebook, the first thing you’ll encounter when clicking their page is a messenger box which you can use for customer support. Posts are focussed around current sporting events with marketing information pushing their on-site promotions. There are also competitions which give you the chance to win extra bets to use on ComeOn’s site.

Over 11,000 people follow ComeOn’s Twitter page, and we must say it has a slightly different feel to their Facebook page. Where Facebook is video heavy and focuses on customer support and sports information, Twitter is used to promote ComeOn’s latest promotions and odds offers.

Payments & Limits

How To Top Up at ComeOn

If you’re interested in playing at ComeOn then you’ll need to know how to top up your betting account. ComeOn have a variety of payment options available, covering payment cards, ewallets and and mobile betting. Credit and debit card payments are one of the most popular methods of payment, but if you don’t want to use this, payments can be made instantly using Neteller, Skrill or Skrill 1-tap. Paysafecard payments are also accepted if you prefer to use those. Finally, you can pay via mobile using the Siru app. This is an advantage for mobile bettors, eliminating the need to log into other sites or find your card.

Minimum and Maximum Deposits

Before placing your deposit on ComeOn’s website, you’ll need to know how much you can spend. The minimum deposit for most payment methods is £8.78, which may sound an odd amount, but is due to currency conversion rates. The only exception to this is Siru, which has a minimum deposit of £10.

The maximum deposits are again unusual amounts because of currency conversion. For debit and credit card or Entropay deposits you can top up your account with a maximum of £2634.45. Trustly can be used with deposits of up to £8781.50. There are no listed deposit maximums for Siru.

Neteller, Skrill, Skrill 1-Tap and PaySafeCard payment methods attract a fee of 5%, which is a shame when other bookmakers have eliminated these charges. The minimum deposit for PaySafeCard is £8.34 with a maximum of £201.98. The other ewallet payments have a minimum of £8.78 with a maximum of £8781.50. The smallest deposit amount will be charged 44p as a fee.

Support & VIP

ComeOn Customers Come First

Is ComeOn legit when it comes to customer service? Definitely yes. You can contact ComeOn in a number of ways. We’ve already mentioned the possibility of speaking to the team via Facebook chat, but you can also get in touch with them via live chat directly on the website. You can also get in touch via email where you’ll be able to send your personal documents, and via phone, which allows you to speak directly to a member of the customer service team. Lastly, there is a basic FAQ section on the website, which answers questions relating to the ComeOn website such as how to make a ComeOn deposit or ComeOn withdrawal. While this is not as comprehensive as some bookmakers’ FAQ’s you should be able to get most questions answered without fuss.

Points Mean Prizes

While details of the VIP section are minimal on the ComeOn website, we do know that they have one. From what we can see this works on a points system. Each task you perform on the website awards you with points, which you can spend in the ComeOn shop. You’ll receive points for logging into the site, points for depositing and points for wagers and withdrawals. Your points can be used to purchase bonuses, extra casino spins and other website perks.

Licenses & Safety - Is ComeOn Legit?

UKGC Licensing Gives Peace Of Mind

There is one gambling license in the world that makes us nod in approval. That’s a license from the UK Gambling Commission, who were set up in 2005. You see, licenses from the UKGC mean that players in the UK are protected should things go awry. The UK Gambling Commission is a government department that is responsible for supervising gambling law in the UK.

In addition to a UKGC license, players will also find a license from the Malta Gaming Authority. This covers international players and is the bookmakers’ home regulator. While licenses from Malta do not hold as much weight as UKGC licenses, they are still trustworthy and should be viewed as a good sign that ComeOn is providing a positive gaming experience for all.

Safe Betting Online

Like any responsible bookmaker, ComeOn provides care to players who are considered vulnerable, such as underage gamblers and potential gambling addicts.

The first thing we noted about ComeOn’s website was their security checks. One is completed on sign up, requesting we confirm our age at registration. ID also needs to be provided for withdrawals. While this minimises the chance for underage betting, we can’t help but feel this should be done before the first deposit is made.

For those experiencing problem gambling, there is lots of support available. ComeOn has donated money to the Responsible Gaming Trust who are researching strategies for problem gamblers.

Visiting the ‘Responsible Gaming’ pagel reveals a statement from ComeOn which outlines their dedication to their players and an advice section to this page to help players with problem gambling. This includes practical advice on how to take a break from betting, setting up a budget and avoiding betting when taking medication or drinking. You’ll also find a player’s self-assessment to see if you’re at risk of problem gambling. The page also has links to four different organisations that are professionally trained to help those with gaming problems.

ComeOn Sports Betting

Betting Markets

A Wide Selection of Betting Markets

Is ComeOn legit when it comes to betting markets? When betting online, you want to be sure that you have a wide selection of sports markets to wager on, otherwise you may find yourself bored with a bonus still sitting in your account to play through. Is ComeOn legit and a good betting site for betting markets? Well, we’d like to think so. There are not many smaller bookmakers out there that have 38 different betting markets available, but ComeOn does. These betting markets cover a huge selection of sports, too, from obvious markets such as international and domestic football leagues and horse racing, to esports from Brazil, China and South Korea. You’ll even find water polo if that’s your sport of choice.

We didn’t stop at the sportsbook, though. While this is a ComeOn review for sportsbook players, it would be remiss to forget the impressive casino selection at ComeOn. Log in with a ComeOn casino login and you can wager on both casino table games and slots. Some of these slots feature progressive jackpots, which scored particularly well in customer ComeOn casino reviews. From our point of view, we can see that the game selections are wide and are fair and impartial, giving lots of entertainment value to the ComeOn customers.

What Bets Did We Find In Our ComeOn Review?

While most bet types on ComeOn were the usual fayre – single, accumulator, each way and combi-bets – there were a couple of more unusual wagers offered on the website that gave them an interesting edge over the competition. One of these was their acca boost bets, which give players the chance to increase their returns if their tennis accumulator wins.

The amount your return will increase by depends on the number of selections in the bet. For two selections your winnings are boosted by two percent, three selections is five percent, all the way up to ten selections which gives you 50% extra.

Betting Odds

Boost Your Odds at ComeOn

It would be fair to say that the accumulator boost bets mentioned above are a nice addition to the ComeOn website. But when it comes to the general day-to-day odds offered at the bookmaker, they’re pretty average. This isn’t just an issue found at ComeOn. Every bookmaker has their own profit margin which dictates the odds on offer, and most bookies will have odds that are very similar to each other.

ComeOn do try and make some slight improvements though, which help to set them apart from other bookies. Firstly, you’ll find a ‘Best Odds Guaranteed’ deal on all UK and Irish horse racing, which pays out either the SP price or the price you backed your horse at, depending on which is higher.

They’ve also added ‘Odds Boosts’ markets to their website, which are specific bets which have had their odds price inflated to make the bet look more attractive. These are commonly available on football markets, and can combine two or more different bets, for example, a team to win a football match and a particular player will score the first goal. Don’t forget, though, that the more legs in a bet, the higher the chances of the bet failing.

Limits

Due to currency conversion, the deposit and withdrawal limits may seem odd to our UK readers. The standard minimum deposit and withdrawal limit hovers between £7-£8. For user of Siru, minimum deposits are set at £10.

Maximum withdrawals range quite a bit and we recommend you double-check these limits in accordance with your chosen payment method. Once you’ve selected your payment method, you’ll be able to find the associated limit on the ComeOn website.

Minimum bet amounts is set at £0.40. Maximum payouts per person on any given day is capped at £100,000.

Live Betting & Streaming

Which Live Betting Markets Are Available?

Whether you prefer to bet online or via mobile you’ll want to ensure you’re getting a competitive betting service that performs favourably against other bookie websites. We took a look at ComeOn and asked ourselves ‘Is ComeOn reliable when it comes to live betting?’ and ‘Can we find something out of the ordinary here?

You’ll find live betting under the ‘In Play’ tab at the top of the sportsbook. The first thing we checked was the number of in play markets available, finding seven different sports, which were football, tennis, beach volleyball, cricket, esports, golf and volleyball. We’re unsure if this is the normal number of live markets available. Even so, live betting is still clearly an option on most popular sports. Across these seven sports there were over 35 different events that you could wager on. Not the largest selection ever, but far from the smallest. It was also nice to see esports included in the selection, as this is rarely the case elsewhere.

Is ComeOn Legit when it comes to Live Betting?

ComeOn’s uses software from SBTech, who offer ‘fast markets’ on some live bets. These allow you to wager on specific events such as corners, goals or free kicks which occur in the next 1-5 minutes. You can settle these bets immediately while your main live bet continues to run for flexible betting.

Product Summary & Conclusion

ComeOn provides customers with a very competitive sportsbook betting service. This applies to the entirety of the sportsbook platform. A wide selection of markets is coupled with some extravagant bet types. Although one can make use of all the standard bet types, it’s also possible to tap into more uniques types. Certain bet types are complemented by price boosts, providing punters with increased potential on returns.

There are 7 different sports to bet on live. From these 7, you’ll find in excess of 30 different markets. ComeOn has certainly given their sportsbook a hard look over and managed to provide customers with an exciting platform that’s creative.

ComeOn Review Conclusion

ComeOn Scored 79 Out of 100 Points in Our Test

We’ve reached the end of our ComeOn review and tried to find an answer to the question: “Is ComeOn legit?”. We have to say we’re pretty impressed by what we found. While ComeOn may not be the largest bookmaker available, the betting opportunities afforded to their players is hard to beat. The website, too is great to navigate, so we can find no real reason not to use the website if it offers the best odds for you. Overall, the bookmaker had no real areas for concern, with the weakest point, their live betting offerings still scoring a seven out of ten. We were particularly impressed with the responsible gaming page, which offered good practical advice for all players on the ComeOn website.

ComeOn Strengths and Weaknesses

ComeOn is a great all-rounder bookmaker, and we have very few negative things to say about it. The main issues we found on the site, while minor, were noticeable, and mainly centred around the live betting section of the website. While it’s fair to say there is a live betting section available, it is smaller than other bookies’ offerings. Live streaming is also non-existent, which is something the bookie will need to address if they want to go toe-to-toe with larger bookies such as Betfair and William Hill.

In spite of this minor disappointment, the bookie does have a great selection of betting markets, with 38 different sports available online. This offers a decent choice, which is why we rated them so highly when it comes to varied betting. A larger bookmaker bonus would have made the website a truly exciting prospect, but we’re sure that with time this will come. All-in-all we were very impressed with ComeOn.
