First Impression & Bruce Betting Registration
Our First Impression of Bruce Betting
Have you ever just visited a bookmakers’ website and thought ‘this is cool’? Well, that’s what we did with Bruce Betting. The website is clean, uncluttered and has a great colour scheme which is bright and inviting. To the left of the page you’ll find a wide selection of sports betting markets. For us, this is one of Bruce Betting’s top features, with 24 different sports and special bets offered. There’s also a ‘Quick Link’ section highlighted to draw the attention where you’ll find current popular bets.
From the home page you’re also able to access the Brucebetting casino and live casino where online betting takes a step closer to the bright lights of Vegas. As well as generous sign up bonuses for the casino tables and slots you’ll also find a host of progressive jackpots and brightly coloured games that you can play without making a deposit. These are ideal to get a feel for the casino without committing.
Navigating The Bruce Betting Website
Finding what you’re looking for on the Bruce Betting website is quite easy. We’ve seen bookmakers’ websites in the past that are so jam-packed with content that it’s hard to see where one bet starts and another ends. Thankfully, that’s not the case with Bruce Betting. Instead, what we do have is a homepage and sportsbook page that is easy to use.
Before we signed up we took a look at the promotions page and found lots of offers on there. Accessing it was simple as the ‘Promotions’ tab was right at the top of the page. These promotions don’t need a Bruce Betting coupon code, again showing how easy it is to get started.
Terms and conditions of each bonus were displayed prominently, something which should assuage those asking the question, ‘Is Bruce Betting trustworthy?’ These terms are also thankfully simple to understand, allowing us to quickly register with the site ready to place our wagers.
First Impression and Registration Bruce Betting Ratings
As mentioned above in our Bruce Betting sportsbook review, registering with the bookmaker was quick, taking just minutes to sign up. To register you need to click the orange ‘Sign Up’ button at the top of the home page. After this, placing your first deposit of £10 or more will trigger the sign up bonus. But more on that in a moment. Overall, we’re impressed with the sites usability and overall feel – it’s definitely on par with our
12bet review
and
Expekt review.
Bruce Betting Bonus Offer
How does receiving £10 a week every week for a year sound to you? Well that’s exactly the bonus deal that’s open to new players at Bruce Betting. Getting the deal isn’t particularly difficult. You just need to register and opt into the deal by making your first deposit of £10 or more. Once this is done you’ll be eligible for the weekly bet promotion.
The bonus is given to players who meet the wagering requirements each week. For £10 to be given to you, you need to spend £100 over ten £10 sports bets. There’s no bonus code needed for the deal, players just have to wager the desired amount. While this is not the most generous of sign up offers, giving players just 10% of their initial stake back as extra bets, it is of use to those who were planning on wagering larger sums of money anyway.
Is Bruce Betting a good betting site for sign up bonuses? The jury is out. But It is worth noting though, that many bookmakers offer 50-100% back on single time matched bets. This being a weekly deal is quite rare.
The Bonus Terms and Conditions
Like most bonus deals, the Bruce Betting promotion has a few terms and conditions attached to it. Luckily, they’re pretty standard fare, though. Firstly, you need to place ten bets of £10 or more over the course of a week. For Bruce Betting this week starts on Friday at 00:01 and ends on Thursday at 00:59.
Each of these bets need to be placed on odds of 2.00 (evens) or above to count. You also can’t place any of your bets on the same event, selection or betting market. If you do, only one of these will count towards the ten bet wagering requirement. For the interests of clarity, that means even if you were planning on placing bets on different outcomes in the same rugby match, for example a bet on the winning team and a bet on the final scoreline, you couldn’t do it.
Bonus funds have more restrictions, and can be used on any odds up to the value of 10/1 only. You can’t cash these bets out early.
Bruce Betting App & Mobile
Is there a Bruce Betting Trustworthy app?
We’re pleased to report that Bruce Betting does have a mobile app. You’ll find the link to the app on the right-hand side of the sportsbook page. It’s available for iOS only, which is a little disappointing for Android customers. If you have an Android, or a phone which uses another operating system, you can use the Bruce Betting mobile site by typing in the web address into your phone or tablet web browser.
Downloading the app can be done by scanning the QR code or following the link to the Apple store and downloading it that way. We found the app downloaded easily, and logging in was just the same as the website.
App Content
Once logged in, it was clear that Bruce Betting tried to incorporate everything you could get online into the app. All betting markets available online were available here, including live betting on golf and tennis. You have 20+ sports to bet on, as well as casino games giving you a wide choice of wagers on the go.
You could also take advantage of all the bonuses offered online, including the sign up bonus which awards players up to £500 back as additional bets. You’ll also find a mobile exclusive bonus called Mobile Mondays which credits mobile customers with a £5 bet if they’ve wagered £50 over the casino or sportsbook in the previous week.
So is the Bruce Betting app reliable? We used the app for a little bit, navigating the app to see how it runs, and were pleasantly surprised at how fast it was. This is crucial for live betting, so we were pleased to see it worked effortlessly. Trustworthiness didn’t seem to be an issue either, as the app is protected by the same licenses as the online site.
Bruce Betting Specials & Extras
Bruce Betting’s Jam-Packed Casino
If you ever find yourself getting tired of sports betting, then how about taking a look at the Bruce Betting casino which is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, just like the sportsbook?
The slots on the website are from some of the leading gaming providers, including NextGen, who provide games such as Panda Mania and The Flash to Microgaming who are the leader in progressive jackpot games. You’ll find Major Millions, Mega Moolah Isis more from them on the Bruce Betting website, all designed to offer life-changing sums of cash.
Table games are also available, with bets offered on blackjack, roulette and video poker, as well as live table games with an actual real-life dealer. This adds an extra level of excitement akin to a real-life casino experience.
Bruce Betting have a social media presence on Twitter, with links to their recent tweets shown on the left hand side of the In-play screen. The bookmaker uses Twitter as a promotional tool for their latest deals and odds offers, as well as hyping up major sporting events such as the football World Cup and the French Open.
The bookies also has over 13,000 people following them on Facebook, which has an automated messenger service there that answers common customer service queries. Their customer engagement is slightly different here, offering a more personal experience where photos of their high street shops, funny viral videos and competitions are added instead of fact-heavy betting related content, which is a nice touch.
Bruce Betting Payments & Limits
What Payment Options Are Available?
The one distinct disadvantage of Bruce Betting over other bookmakers is their payment methods. While most bookmakers offer a wide host of payment options to their players, Bruce Betting has just two. These are credit card and debit card. This shouldn’t be a problem for most players, but we felt it important to draw attention to it given that most bookies provide more choice.
With that said, depositing at Bruce Betting is a simple task. Once signed up with the bookmaker all you need to do is click the bright orange ‘Deposit’ button at the very top of the page and you’ll be taken to your bookmakers’ account. You then need to add the amount you’d like to deposit. The minimum deposit is £10. Once you’ve typed this in, you just need to add your card details and CVV and click ‘Submit and finish’ at the bottom of the page to add your funds. There are no charges from Bruce Betting to make a deposit, but do get in touch with your payment provider to ensure this is the case with them.
Withdrawing Your Funds
While adding your funds is all well and good, at some point, hopefully you’ll need to withdraw your cash. To do this, you’ll again need to visit your betting account. From here you select the ‘Withdraw’ button.
You can then choose which method of withdrawal you would like to use. Remember, Bruce Betting only accepts credit and debit card. Once selected, you can withdraw a minimum of £10 (fees may apply) and cannot withdraw any free bets or promotional funds.
One huge downside of withdrawing with Bruce Betting is the potential to get hit by fees if your account doesn’t meet a certain level of activity. If, for example, you’ve won more than 50% of what you’ve wagered, you’ll be hit by a 5% fee with a minimum charge of £3.00. On a £300 win, this equates to £15.
Bruce Betting Customers Support & VIP
Bruce Betting Support
While Bruce Betting do have a solid customer service record, their team is only available via live chat or email. Both of these options are available 24/7, with live chat being the swiftest method of contact. Email has the added function of being able to send supporting documents which may help your query get dealt with quicker.
As noted above, you may also be able to get answers through the Facebook page as Bruce Betting’s messenger is set to answer very basic queries automatically. This can be a fast option if you find yourself sitting around on live chat waiting for an adviser. Alternatively, there is a small help section available on the website which should answer very basic questions such as how to set up an account.
No VIP Section at Bruce Betting
We looked and looked, but we couldn’t find a VIP section on the Bruce Betting website. This is not a huge surprise given that the majority of the website is basic, but functional. It is possible that Bruce Betting will introduce a loyalty scheme in the future, but for now, they are content to reward continuous support of the website through additional bets. Remember, if you wager more than £100 a week you’ll get an added bet of £10. This is Bruce Betting’s way of saying thank you.
Bruce Betting Licenses & Safety
Who Licenses Bruce Betting?
When it comes to site reliability, there are a lot of factors to take into account. Not least, is the licensing of a bookmaker. Licensing can tell you a lot about a bookie instantly. Some countries licenses are awarded more easily than others, with less customer safety and security measures needed to be met before it is given. Other license givers have very stringent regulations, and a license held by that authority generally means that a bookmaker is trustworthy.
When it comes to Bruce Betting they hold licenses for their casino and sportsbook software in the UK by the UK Gambling Commission. These are one of the more stringent license givers, ensuring that games and bets are fair and impartial for all. This should give peace of mind to anyone betting on the website, but if not, there is a link to Bruce Betting’s license, and also information on their personal information security protocols available at the bottom of the home page. Is Bruce Betting a site we can trust? We’d like to think so.
Betting Safely Online
All reputable bookmakers offer support and information to those struggling with gambling addiction, and Bruce Betting is no exception. On their website you’ll find a range of options for you, including a questionnaire which you can complete to see if you may be at risk of developing a gambling issue. Bruce Betting also allow you to add your own deposit limits, which can stop you from panic betting if your current wagers go against you. Betting limits are moveable, but take 24 hours for any changes to come into effect, by which case, the desire to bet may have subsided.
If you recognise you have an issue, you can self-exclude from their website by contacting customer service or completing a form yourself online. If this option is exercised any funds in your account will be withdrawn and returned to you immediately.
Bruce Betting Review Conclusion
Bruce Betting Scored 74 Out of 100 Points In Our Test
It’s safe to say our Bruce Betting review is a mixed bag of results. There are undoubtedly some elements of the website that did very well, such as Bruce Betting’s dedication to online safety and site security; and elements that did not do so well, such as the very limited payment options. With this said, Bruce Betting still scored a respectable 74 out of 100 points in our test, indicating that while there will be bookmakers that score above them, they are likely to offer more choice, not necessarily better value for money.
Bruce Betting may not have the bells and whistles of some of the larger bookies, but the fundamentals of their site are there. Registration in the UK helps show they are to be trusted, and they award loyalty in an attainable way.
Bruce Betting Strengths and Weaknesses
Points were lost in some key areas of our review. The first of which was their payment method choices. These was rather limited, offering just credit and debit card. But these payment options are available to most people, and more importantly, are reliable payment methods. While it would have been nice to see extra payment methods on the website, we’re not too worried with their fundamental choice. Mobile gaming and live betting took hits for the same reason – the feature was offered, just not as comprehensively as other bookies.
This is a bookmaker that we think is doing everything right. Despite a middling score, there’s an awful lot of promise in the Irish bookie. Need more reviews? Take a look at our
