The benefits of winning a major like the PGA Championship does not actually lie in the winnings but rather in the automatic qualification for the other three majors. Winning one gains you access to the other three. Furthermore, you receive the maximum of 100 leaderboard points which is enough to see players sky rocket up the world golf rankings. Following any tips for PGA Championship golf this year may be tough based on how strong the overall field of players is.

Brooks Koepka
World no. 6 Brooks Koepka is tipped as one of the favourites to win the PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park. He has made this major his own over the last two straight years, winning on both occasions by 2 strokes. You would be a braver man than most to bet against Brooks at the tournament he loves. However, it is not unthinkable that he may slip up this time around with such a strong field at this year’s tournament.
Justin Thomas
Since the resumption of golf after the pandemic, there can be no arguing with the fact that Justin Thomas has been the best golfer. His ball striking has been phenomenal and his short game even better which has earned him the top spot on the golf world rankings. Being no stranger to this major, Justin Thomas won back in 2017 and has rightly been evenly tipped to win the tournament this year alongside Brooks Koepka. Our PGA Championship betting tips
Adam Scott
Someone who may not initially jump out at viewers as a hotly tipped favourite, is Adam Scott. Scott has finished inside the top 10 of the last two PGA Championship tournaments and currently has odds of 50-1 to win this year. These may seem like long odds but Adam Scott has been in some good form of late and the Australian has dragged himself back into the top 10 world golf rankings again. Our PGA Championship predictions would be remiss not to mention Adam Scott with an outside chance at winning the major.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Our PGA Championship predictions for this year’s major is a real tough one, as like we said, the field is incredibly strong this year. That being said, we find it increasingly difficult to look past the form of Brooks Kopeka at this tournament over the last two years. And while no one has won it three times in a row since Walter Hagen in the 1920’s, our PGA Championship betting tips believe that Brooks has a fantastic chance to achieve this feat himself. You could just as likely go for Justin Thomas to win it as both him and Koepka are favourites at 10-1 (11.00) odds with 888sport.
We have picked a safe bet and a bet that represents value for money on the odds. Brooks Koepka is your safe bet without doubt and at 10-1 odds that is still a fair return on someone who has a very strong chance of winning his 3rd title in a row. If you want to have a punt at a dark horse who on his day can be a phenomenal golfer, we would go with Adam Scott at 50-1 odds. With odds that long, you don’t need to go all in on your wager to see decent excellent returns on your bet. Adam Scott represents one of our favourite tips for PGA Championship golf victory this year.
