Premier League Betting Tips Today
All Premier League predictions must be partially based on the endless pendulum swing of momentum. An upswing or a downswing in results can have a huge impact. Perhaps few Premier League games have made us consider how great an effect this has as a singular factor than this one.

We’ll be looking at how the fortunes of both Wolves and Everton have changed dramatically rather recently. But in order to provide the best tips possible, we’ll also be checking out the wider context to see if bookmakers aren’t seeing the woods for the trees. Or is the result here likely to be swept along by a tide of fortune and motivation?
Wolves’ Teeth Sharpened on Recent Victories
Wolves look to have turned around their sketchy start to the season, where only a win over Watford saw them score in their first five games. They do come into this Premier League prediction weekend off the back of a 1-1 draw against Leeds United, but even that had its positives. We saw another goal from Hwang Hee-Chan, who also ended the drought against Watford weeks before.
Even more positive than the Leeds United game, of course, was their trilogy of hard-fought victories against Southampton, Newcastle and Aston Villa. There are plenty of positives for Wolves, who appear to have gotten their bite back.
Toffees Manage Respectable Position Despite Issues
If Wolves are currently enjoying an upward swing – both in Premier League predictions today and in objective results – well, then Everton probably passed them on the way down in terms of momentum, if not quite yet the standings. Things all seemed to be going rather well at the time of the Toffee’s draw against Manchester United. They proved they could more than hang with a Premier League prediction elite. That also came off the back of impressive wins over Brighton, Burnley and Southampton.
Their attacking duo of Demarai Gray (Dominic Calvert-Lewin remains injured) and Richarlison, however, faltered. They looked weak on offense in dual losses to West Ham and Watford. That makes our Premier League predictions wonder how much impact those struggles may have on their confidence here.
Considering that Everton beat Wolves twice already this year – once in January and once in May – you may think this will be an easy advantage to them in our Premier League tips predictions. But it’s a touch more complicated than that.
The Toffees only won by a single goal in each of those outings, meaning there’s plenty of doubt remaining. That is especially true considering Wolves beat Everton 3-0 in July 2020. Plus, other recent contests have seen them pretty much even. We’d still say history slightly favours Everton. They also have the overall statistical winning percentage, but not by enough for it to be a defining factor in our Premier League predictions today.

There’s a whole bunch of head to head fixtures between these two, both recently and historically. Their first match was back in 1889, after all. Therefore, we think it will be helpful to your Premier League predictions weekend to have some key highlights. What’s that? They’re right here? Well, that’s just a wonderful addition for your Premier League tips betting.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Our betting tip may come as a surprise considering their most recent form, but we’ll explain our Premier League predictions today in greater detail in a moment. We’re backing Everton to win this Premier League prediction weekend.
We’re Backing Everton to Defy Bookmakers
It’s easy for recent results to over impose their importance on any Premier League prediction weekend, but the best Premier League predictions always take the full story into account. Away from the last couple games, Everton have had a slightly more consistent season than Wolves. This is evidenced by their place in the Premier League standing and their earlier success.
In addition, they have the historical advantage, having won two very recent games against their upcoming adversaries. And let’s not forget that Everton looked likely to beat Watford before things fell apart in the final 12 minutes. That’s something that Demarai Gray has been public in announcing as an unacceptable loss of form.
This isn’t to say we think the Toffees are going to run away with the win here. This looks to be a hard-fought contest, especially considering Wolves’ home advantage and their latest surge of momentum – not to mention Everton’s injury woes. But, we’d give the Toffees the slight edge of probability on winning. And as neither team tends to play to a draw, that seems to be the most likely outcome. It’s also one which provides our Premier League predictions with quality odds, as bookmakers generally have the home side as favourites.
