For our Premier League predictions today, we’re turning our heads to Monday night at Molineux, where Wolves host a Liverpool side who are looking to bounce back from recent form that has now been dubbed a “crisis.” Read on for our Premier League tips, predictions and more!
No Anfield Plague to Haunt Liverpool
Liverpool have shocked Premier League predictions experts with their recent implosion that has resulted in back-to-back records. They ended their near four year unbeaten home run in the league and launched straight into an unprecedented run of four home defeats in a row. They technically got a “home” win in the Champions League against Leipzig, however it was played in Budapest. They were impressive against Leipzig and delivered an all-round comfortable performance, which will give them confidence. The return of Jota has freshened up the front line, Salah always looks dangerous and Philips looks comfortable in the back line.
Wolves Without a Win in Three
Compared to last season, Wolves have underdelivered and fell short of most Premier League predictions this season. The head injury to Raul Jiminez back in November has had a significant impact on results. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side still sit in 12th though, well away from the relegation zone, but short of chasing European places as they have the past two seasons. They go into this on the back of a three game winless run, which included a 0-0 draw against Villa last weekend. Goals have been a problem for Wolves in the absence of their Mexican talisman.
Nuno and Klopp have met seven times as Wolves and Liverpool managers respectively, five times in the Premier League and twice in the Cup. Klopp has won all of the Premier League games, while Nuno has won both FA Cup meetings. There hasn’t been a draw between Wolves and Liverpool for over ten years. The last meeting between these sides was at Anfield back in early December, with Liverpool dishing out a 4-0 drubbing. Liverpool have since imploded, especially at home, therefore the fact this is at Molineux should actually aid Liverpool more than Wolves.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Having analysed the above information, our Premier League predictions today point to a Liverpool win on Monday night.
Reds to Bounce Back
Liverpool’s home form in the league had seemingly plunged the club into crisis. However, having an away fixture against a team they hold a 100% Premier League record over under Klopp gives them the perfect opportunity to bounce back. The win over Leipzig was an extremely convincing performance and Liverpool really should’ve scored more. They aren’t conceding in high numbers despite recent poor form, and Wolves haven’t been banging them in without Jiminez in the side. If Liverpool go with a the same centre back pairing of Philips and Kabak, then we expect them to keep clean sheet and find a goal or two to see Wolves off. Mane is struggling in front of goal and Jota is getting eased back into the fold. Fortunately though, Salah hasn’t quite lost his touch. Our tip therefore is a Liverpool win to nil at odds of 2.8 with 888sport.
