For our Premier League predictions today we’re focussing on the match between West Ham and Everton at London Stadium this Sunday. As the Hammers look to snatch an unlikely top four spot, our Premier League tips, betting odds and predictions follow on below.
Top Four Still Within Reach for the Hammers
West Ham have defied most Premier League predictions so far thus season, and sit in 5th place, just three point behind Chelsea. Given that Chelsea play runaway league leaders Manchester City on Saturday, the game against Everton could present the Irons with the chance to draw level on points with Chelsea should they win. West Ham did falter recently with a surprise loss to Newcastle that would’ve hurt them dearly. Still, Lingerd is on fire and they have a good record against teams outside of the to four. Declan Rice is still an injury doubt, which is a blow.
Europa League Spot the Goal for Everton
The top four isn’t yet fully out of reach for Everton mathematically, however it looks highly unlikely in our Premier League predictions. The Toffees are still well in with a chance of the Europa League spots though, as they sit in 8th place with a game in hand over six of the seven teams above them. Recent inconsistency has cost them dearly though, as Carlo Ancelotti’s side have dropped 9 points in their last five games. A win could really put Everton in the European running, but a loss could see them drop to mid table come the end of the season.
David Moyes got the better of his old side when they met in the league on New Year’s Day. The Hammers snatched a 1-0 win at Goodison thanks to a goal from Tomáš Souček. The Toffees got the better of the Hammers in their first meeting of the season though, as they smashed them 4-1 in the EFL Cup back in September. Last season, the Toffees got four points from their two meetings with West Ham. Overall, Everton have the better record in this fixture, having won 72 meetings, compared with West Ham’s 41. 31 meetings have ended in a draw.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Having analysed the above information, our Premier League predictions suggest a West Ham win on Saturday.
Hammers to Keep the Dream Alive
Everton have only one win in their last eight games in all competitions, and are coming up against a West Ham side who have a great record against teams outside of the top four. Perhaps surprisingly, the only team outside of the top four to have beaten West Ham this season is Newcastle, who have done the double over the Hammers. For all West Ham have been involved in a few five goal thrillers this season, Everton’s scorelines have been modest. We’re predicting a West Ham win, but can’t totally rule out a draw. Everton’s last five fixtures have served up a goal average of two goals, which is the stat we’re using for this tip. We’re backing two goals exact at odds of 3.6 with Bet365. Goal scorers – Lingard, Antonio or Souček.
