For our Premier League predictions today, we’re heading focussing on the could-be-crucial tie between West Brom and Liverpool at the Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon. Read on to find out Premier League tips, predictions and more for this clash.
West Brom’s Relegation Confirmed
Big Sam has been relegated from the Premier League for the first time ever after losing to Arsenal on Sunday. Many Premier League predictions experts though that Big Sam could do the impossible with a struggling side once more. Despite improved performances and some surprise results, Big Sam couldn’t do enough to keep West brom in the top flight. Still, they didn’t go down without a fight and we still expect them to bring their all against the top four chasing Reds on Sunday.
Liverpool Face Four Cup Finals
It’s been a dismal campaign for Liverpool that few Premier League predictions could have foreseen. Still Liverpool have left themselves with a fighting chance of making the top four – with Thursday’s game against United ahead the West Brom clash proving crucial. Even if Liverpool manage to win all four of their remaining games, they still reply on Leicester and/or Chelsea dropping points and goals to find themselves playing Champions League football next season. Mo Salah is still very much in contention for the golden boot though and Jota is looking sharp – so we can never write the Reds off!
In a stat that may surprise some, Liverpool haven’t recorded a win against West Brom since April 2017 – over four years ago! The last three Premier League meetings have been draws, in between which West Brom knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup with a 3-2 Anfield victory in 2018. West Brom are something of bodega team for Liverpool, with Klopp having drawn more than he’s won against the Baggies. Still Klopp is undefeated against West Brom in the league – as the Baggies haven’t managed a top flight win vs the Reds since 2013.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Having anaylsed the above information, our Premier League predictions today suggest a Liverpool win on Friday night.
Liverpool to Shut Out the Baggies
Big Sam has said that his side will still be showing plenty of fight in their remaining Premier League games – and we do believe him. However in all honesty, the Baggies’ confirmed relegation status will give Liverpool a boost going into this fixture – regardless of Liverpool’s result against Manchester United in the midweek. Against Southampton, Liverpool once more looked slightly off the pace compared to what we know they’re capable of. However defensively, they looked far more solid than they have been all season. We’re therefore backing a Liverpool clean sheet at odds of 2 with Bet365. If you’re looking to back an exact scoreline, we’d go for another 2-0 Liverpool win and would tip Salah to score. The Egyptian is hot on the heels of Harry Kane in the race for the Golden Boot with time running out.
