For our Premier League predictions today we’re heading to North London, where Jose Mourinho’s Spurs host his old club Manchester United on Sunday. Our Premier League tips, predictions and more follow on directly below.
Spurs Inconsistency Continues
In the eyes of many Premier League predictions experts, this was to be the season that the Jose Mourinho Spurs era would begin in earnest. At first, that looked to be the case, as they once topped the table in December, having beaten City in a trademark Mourinho performance. Fast forward a few months, and the inconsistency of last season has continued, with an embarrassing Europa League topping it off. Last weekend’s draw with Newcastle was another blow, but Spurs are still just three points off of a top four spot. Added to that, in Kane, Son and Bale they have a formidable attacking line.
Second Place Under Threat for United
United have won their last three league games and haven’t lost in the League since January 27. However a run of draws last month means that the task at hand is now keeping the chasing pack at a distance, rather than chasing runaway neighbours Manchester City at the top. United do have a Europa League game against Granada to play ahead of this weekend’s tie, so squad rotation will be key. Solskjaer has a nearly fully fit squad to choose from, so this shouldn’t be too much of a problem for the Red Devils.
The last meeting between these sides was the 6-1 home thrashing that Jose Mourinho doled out to his former side. It was a result that matched United’s heaviest home defeat in the Premier League era, which they suffered at the hand of their rivals Manchester City. Prior to that, Mourinho had struggled against his former side. Spurs lost their first game against United under the Portuguese tenure, drawing the return fixture after project restart. As a result, Mourinho and Solskjaer now have an even head to head record, with a win each and one draw.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Having analysed the above information, our Premier League predictions today point to a draw on Sunday between Spurs and United
A Second Draw on the Cards
Since the surprise 6-1 fixture, that no Premier League predictions experts saw coming, a lot has changed. United have progressed and become a relatively consistent side (the second best in the country, as it goes), while Spurs have become inconsistent, leaving the manager’s future in serious doubt.
That being said, Mourinho is a manager made for these types of games, though he insist his players lack the mentality to hold on to a lead. United tend to approach big games conservatively, having drawn 0-0 with Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal at various points this season.
This time out, we do see both sides scoring, but as the game progresses a draw would suit both sides, while not being totally ideal for Spurs. We;re therefore predicting a draw plus both teams to score, which you can back at odds of 4.33 with bet365.
