For our Premier League predictions today, we’re turning our attention to the North West of England. On Sunday, you’ll be presented with a crunch tie as Manchester United host Arsenal at Old Trafford. The Premier League tips & betting predictions are to follow for this match.
United Rediscover Their Mojo
Before the international break, United suffered a 6-1 humiliation home to Spurs, a game few Premier League predictions experts could have foreseen. Since then, however United have went on a 4 game unbeaten run in all competitions and will be spurred on for this clash having thrashed RB Leipzig 5-0 in the Champions League midweek. Marcus Rashford has returned to form, having bagged a hattrick in the Champions League, so we expect him to be well up for this one. Their last outing was a somewhat cagey 0-0 draw at home to Chelsea, but goals seem to have returned to the side.
Arsenal still struggling against the big 6
After their FA Cup win and Community Shield victory over Liverpool to kick start the season, many thought the Arteta revolution had started in earnest. However, in the league Arsenal have won 3 and lost 3, again coming up short against sides from last season’s top 6. It is undeniable that Arteta has made Arsenal difficult to beat, however they are sorely lacking in creativity up top. Their not lacking in strikers, more a creative idfield who cn provide them with quality service. This makes the decision to leave our Mersualt Özil all the more baffling.
Once upon a time, this was thee fixture on the Premier League Calendar, as Ferguison and Wenger went toe to toe for the title. However these days it doesn’t have quite the same level of grandeur, as both sides are very much in transition. Last time out, Arsenal were 2-0 winners at the Emirates. Prior to that the sides shared the spoils at Old Trafford. All in all, United have gone 4 league games without a win against the Gunners, however Arsenal also haven’t won away to a top6 side since 2015. Our Premier League predictions today point to a closely fought contest.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Having analysed everything mentioned above and recent form, we’re backing Manchester United to grab the home win for our Premier League predictions.
Man United to continue their run
The last time Manchester United got a visit from a North London side, it didn’t end well for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s boys. However the chances of a repeat look extremely slim. United have since tightened at the back and in their midweek outing proved that they still have the firepower to put goals past quality sides. Arsenal on the other hand still look inconsistent and have yet to gel. Additionally, they’re plagued by the fact that they have gone 5 years without winning away to a top 6 side. When it comes to their record against United specifically, Arsenal haven’t won at Old Trafford in the league since 2006. We’re therefore backing Manchester United win both halves at odds of 3.4 with Bet365. Likely goal scorers are Macrus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes (from the spot, of course!).
