For our Premier League predictions today we’re focussing on Manchester City vs Chelsea, a fixture that is now confirmed as the 2021 Champions League final in Istanbul. As City close in on the title we’re bringin g you our Premier League tips, predictions and more below.
City Looking to Confirm Title
It’s a matter of when, not if, City will win the title. They could’ve met our Premier LEague predictions and have been crowned champions last weekend, were it not for Manchester United vs Liverpool being postponed. Once again in the midweek City proved how dangerous and efficient their deep squad is. Mahrez has been in fine form on the wing and Ruben Diaz is a stalwart in defense. They might have missed out on the quadruple thanks to Chelsea, but the treble is most certainly alive and kicking. Best team in Europe without a shadow of a doubt.
Chelsea Look to Spoil City’s Party Again
Chelsea have defied most expert Premier League predictions this season since Tuchel took the reigns. The Blues are looking certain for a top four finish and could do an FA Cup and Champions League double. Key to their success is the fact than Tuchel looks to finally be getting the best out of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz. The German duo had initially struggled to adapt to life in England but are slowly beginning to show why they were brought in in the first place. Old hands such as Kante and Joginho have also played vital roles.
These sides last met in the FA Cup semi final at Wembley, with Chelsea coming out on top. The victory was Tichels first managerial win over Pep Guardiola, with the German having lost four and drawn ne of his previous five meetings against the Spaniard. When these sides last met in the league at the turn of the new year, it was City who came out on top with a 3-1 away win at the Bridge. With two sides now set to meet in the Champions League final later this month, it means that they will play each other three times over a six week period.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Having analysed the above information, our Premier League predictions suggest a Man City win on Saturday.
City to Step Closer to the Title
Chelsea might’ve gotten the better of City in the FA cup, and they looked impressive in the midweek against Real Madrid, but City are on another level right now. We’re predicting a number of changes to the side for Pep but think that ultimately they should get the job done. Given Chelsea’s sound game management and City’s confidence and lack of urgency, we’re calling a low scoring game on Saturday. That’t why our betting tip for today is to back two goals exact at odds of 3.5 with Bet365. The most likely outcome is a 2-0 win for City, but we can’t rule out Chelsea snatching a 1-1 draw either. Goal scorers are to tough to predict as both sides have possible goals from almost anywhere on the park and we’re not sure what City side we’re going to see Pep put out.
