For our Premier League predictions today, we’re turning our attention to the Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park, a fixture that hasn’t brought much success to the blue side of Liverpool for over a decade. Our Premier League tips, betting info and predictions follows below alongside out analysis.
Reds Complete Hattrick of Premier League Defeats
The talks of title retention have been silenced at Anfield have been silenced follow three back to back defeats in the League – cementing most Premier League predictions. Liverpool haven’t won at home since Burley shocked us all by ending the undefeated Anfield record back in January. Aside from last weekend’s capitulation to Leicester, the road hasn’t been too bad for the Reds. They will definitely take confidence from their strong Champions League performance on Tuesday night, as they dispatched RB Leipzig comfortably with a 2-0 win. Kabak put in a strong display on Tuesday after a couple of blunders on a his debut at the weekend.
A Blunder Brace for the Toffees
Everton followed up their shock home defeat at the hands of relegation-battling Fulham with a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Manchester City. Despite this dip in form, the Toffees sit in 7th, just one place below Liverpool, and with a game in hand on everyone above them. Therefore we can’t completely rule Everton out of our top four Premier League predictions. Despite the league slip up, we’re still little more than a week on from their 5-4 dispatching of Spurs in the cup, where Bernard and Richarlison shone, with Sigurdsson stealing the show.
Toffees fans probably don’t need to be reminded of this yet again, but the reality has to be faced every time this derby fixture rolls around. Everton haven’t won this fixtures since October 2010, when they won at Goodison. The only player who started that day that still players for either side is Everton captain Seamus Coleman. For Everton’s last win at Anfield, you have to go all the way back to 1999. Everton have managed plenty of draws in that time, including in the last two fixtures – although they were heavily assisted by VAR at Goodison back in October.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Having analysed the above information, our Premier League predictions today point to a third consecutive derby draw.
A Hattrick of Draws on Merseyside
Neither side is coming into this match in particularly solid form league wise, and the Anfield fortress has flipped in recent weeks to become the Anfield curse. That being said, we’d give Liverpool the slight upper hand given their midweek Champions League performance. However, as their loss to Brighton showed, the Reds are currently capable of following up strong away performances with a poor show at home. Everton will feel they’ve got their best stab at an Anfield win for quite some time here as a result. Liverpool have conceded seven goals in their last two Premier League Games, while Everton have let in nine across all competitions in their last three. What we expect is the two teams to cancel each other out, and we’re therefore tipping a draw at odds of 4.33 with Bet365.
