For our Premier League predictions today, we’re focussing on the weekend’s top of the table clash. Leicester City host champions-elect manchester City at the King Power, knowing they need a result to keep distance between themselves and Chelsea in 4th place. Our premier League tips, betting info and predictions follow below.
Foxes Look Strong but Injuries Still an Issue
Despite having seven first team players injured, Leicester left things on a high going into the international break. They knocked Manchester United out of the FA cup to secure a semi-final against Southampton. Their last league game was a 5-0 thumping of struggling Sheffield United. The Foxes will still be without James Maddison, although there is the possibility he could return to the bench for match. While Vardy’s goals have dried up slightly since the turn of the year, Iheanacho has been in stunning form. All in all, our Premier League predictions look good for the Foxes.
The home derby loss to Manchester United back on March 7 that ended City’s winning streak has since proven to be nothing other than a blip. Pep’s side recovered from the defeat to win their following four games in a row, keeping three clean sheets in doing so. The big news coming out of the City camp is that Sergio Aguero will leave at te end of the season, though he is fit for selection against Leicester. However given that Pep has a fully fit squad to choose from, Aguero will be lucky to find a place in the starting line up on Saturday.
These two sides last met all the way back in September at the Etihad, with Leicester inflicting a shock 5-2 defeat against City. It was a result that proved to be an awakening for Pep guardiola and Manchester City. They reacted by drafting in Ruben Dias to tighten up the defence, and then went on the 21 game winning streak that has kept them in all four competitions and has them as runaway league leaders. Given that so much has changed since the last meeting, out premier League predictions don’t see a repeat of September’s result on Saturday.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Having analysed the above information, our Premier League predictions today point to a City win on Saturday.
City to Setback the Foxes
Despite managing to beat the other team from Manchetser in the King Power before the break, we can’t see Leicester doing a Manc double sadly. While Leicester still have five or six injuries to would-be first team players, City’s 25 man squad is injury-free, with the 15 players who went on international duty seemingly coming back unscathed. If we look at form Leicester haven’t beaten City at home since 2018, and poor home form is the reason the Foxes aren’t above Manchester United and closer to City in the League this season. Furthermore, Pep will have the motivation of not wanting to be embarrassed by Brendan Rogers twice in the same season. We’re predicting an efficient Man City performance, and are tipping them to win both halves at odds of 2.4 with Bet365. We wouldn’t be against Leicester finding the net, but wouldn’t bank on it either.
