For our Premier League predictions today, we’re covering the top four battle in the King Power, where Leicester City host faltering Champions Liverpool in the Midlands. Read on to find our Premier League tips, betting info and predictions for this intriguing match.
Leicester Still within Touching Distance
Despite some recent disappointing results, including last weekend’s 0-0 draw with Wolves and the 3-1 home loss to Leeds the previous weekend, Leicester City still sit in third place, just seven points off Manchester City – who still have a game in hand. Can the Foxes defy Premier League predictions once again and lift the title? It looks unlikely – despite proving recently that they can see off teams without Vardy, they are undoubtedly a better team with the aging striker in the side. However with top 4 looking good and two cup runs on the go, things are looking good for Leicester this season.
Reds Continue to Falter
The back-to-back 3-1 away wins in London proved to be something of a false dawn, as their return home to saw the once impenetrable walls of the Anfield fortress crumble like sandstone cliffs after a harsh winter storm. They followed up a 1-0 loss to Brighton with a 4-1 humbling at the hands of City, all but completing their translation from “title challengers” to “top four chasers”. Fans will be hoping that Klopp is able to utilise his new defensive signings, as getting Henderson and Fabinho could prove vital for Liverpool’s top four hopes.
If the past week has been depressing for Liverpool fans, then the head to head stats against Leicester are sure to cheers them up – and perhaps enhance our Premier League predictions for this weekend. The Reds are undefeated in their last seven against the Foxes, having won six of those. Brendan Rogers has yet to beat his old club since returning to the Premier League as Leicester manager and has lost all three competitive matches against Jurgen Klopp. Liverpool have scored seven in two matches without reply against Leicester, so will be hoping this can act as a badly needed springboard.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Having analysed the above information, our Premier League predictions today suggest a win for the Reds on Saturday lunchtime.
Reds to Outsmart the Cunning Foxes Once More
Given the recent Reds performances, you might think we’re a bit mad with this prediction, but if we look at Liverpool’s away form, Leicester’s home form and the recent head to head record, it’s the most logical prediction.
Leicester’s current position in the Premier League has been built on solid away performances – five of their six losses this season have come at home. Moreover, Liverpool’s recent fall from grace has been down to the crumbling of the Anfield fortress – they’ve actually won their last two trips on the road fairly comfortably. Liverpool are due a bounce back, and should have the quality if Henderson or Fabinho is allowed back into midfield if Klopp decides either one or both of Ben Davies and Kabak is fit to start. We’re therefore tipping Liverpool to win both halves at odds of 3.6 with Bet365.
