Our Premier League predictions this season put Leicester inside the top four, proving last season was no fluke – and the Foxes haven’t let us down. What’s been more encouraging recently is that with the likes of Barnes and Maddison really stepping up a gear, their prospects in the post-Vardy era don’t look too bad at all. A Slender Win for the Foxes
We think the Foxes will probably edge this one, but we’re not certain enough of that to stick our necks out. The only thing we’re feeling sure of is that Arsenal won’t win. Both sides have testy Europa League ties on Thursday that are must wins, should they wish to progress in the competition. However, Leicester perhaps have the weaker opposition and their top four position actually means that a Europa League exit could actually be beneficial. Arsenal, on the other hand, sit in 11th place and the Europa League is their only potential avenue to the Champions League next season. We therefore expect Arsenal to be the more burnt out of the sides, but they will seek to keep the scoreline modest. Our betting tip for this week is therefore two goals exact at odds of 3.6 with Bet365 – either a 2-0 home win or a 1-1 draw.
