For our Premier League predictions today, we’re focussing on a bottom of the table clash, as two newly promoted teams and early relegation candidates, Fulham and West Brom, face off in London. The Premier League tips & betting predictions are to follow for this match.
Newsboys Fulham still chasing first win
After suffering 4 straight losses to start their campaign, Fulham finally managed to grab themselves a point against fellow strugglers Sheffield United. They then follow this up with a home defeat to Crystal Palace. This has left manager Scott Parker to be tipped by Premier League predictions experts to be the first manager of the season to be given his P45. There are some positives to be found for the Cottagers despite their awful start however. They have scored more than the two teams above them in the table, and their scorelines have been getting progressively more modest.
West Brom still chasing first win
Slaven Bilić’s West Brom side have shown consistent levels of below average performances so far this season. After 6 games, they find themselves one place above the drop zone, with 3 points. They’ve drawn 3 and lost 3, yet threw away 3 points after conceding a 3 goal first half lead to Chelsea in game 3 of the season. Alongside their hosts on Monday night and Champions Liverpool, they have the joint worst defence so far this season. And aside from their 3 goal haul against Chelsea, they have also struggled up top.
These two sides faced off in the Championship last season, and both ultimately won promotion, as West Brom finished in 2nd place and Fulham came up via the playoffs. Both of their meetings ended in draws last season, with the score lines being 1-1 and 0-0 respectively. Our Premier League predictions for this one therefore point to a low scoring affair. Prior to their meeting in last years Championship, the sides hadn’t met since they were both last in the top flight back in 2014. Since then, they have both flitted between the Premier League and the Championship at different times.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Having analysed the above information, our Premier League predictions today point to a slender home win on Monday night for Fulham.
Fulham to keep first clean sheet
Technically speaking, West Brom are the narrowly more in form side ahead of this one, having drawn their last two games. However, Fulham have actually scored 2 over their last two to West Brom’s 1. The Cottagers are still chasing their first win and first clean sheet, and both the players and manager will know that this is their best chance to kick start their season. West Brom can be tight at the back but offer little in terms of attacking threat (unless they’re playing Chelsea). All of this is perhaps why Fulham are the narrow favourites at odds of 2.45. We therefore reckon Fulham will tighten things up at the back to keep their first clean sheet of the season, and see 1 or 2 goals coming from Mitrovic and Loftus-Cheek. You can back our tip for a home clean sheet with Bet365 at odds of 3.
