For our Premier League predictions today, we’re focusing on Crystal Palace vs Manchester City. If other results go their way, the Citizens could be champions come Sunday. Our Premier League, tips, betting info and predictions all follow on below for this fixture.
Is Palace’s Season Petering Out?
With 38 points and sitting in 13th place, Roy Hogeson’s Palace technically can consider themselves safe from the drop, but their form hasn’t been brilliant of late. They have just one win from their last seven and go into this game having suffered back to back losses against Leicester and Chelsea. The goal for Palace will be to put in some strong performances to finish the season on a high – and not let it fizzle out. As has been the story in recent seasons, over-reliance on Wilfred Zaha is an ongoing concern.
Double In Sight For City
Having beaten Spurs to lift the EFL Cup last weekend, Man City could seal the double this weekend, as a win against Palace combined with a Manchester United loss at Liverpool would see them crowned Champions. Our Premier League predictions suggest that Pep may have to wait another week though. City had a positive result on Wednesday night, with goals from De Bruyne and Mahrez sealing comeback away win in Paris in the Champions League. The Double – certainly. The Treble – we’ll have to wait and see…
Palace fans will remember with fondness the 3-2 away victory they grabbed against a then all-conquering City side back in 2018. What they’ll want to forget, however, is their more recent performances against the Citizens, including the 4-0 loss back in January. The last time these sides met at Selhurst Park though, Palace managed to hold on for a 2-0 draw, so we can’t write the Eagles off quite yet in our Premier League predictions. All in all though, Palace have just one win in their last 14 vs City, so the only result they’re likely to snatch is a draw, if anything.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Having analysed the above information, our Premier League predictions today suggest a Man City win on Saturday.
Manchester City to Step Closer to Title
Will Manchester City seal the title this weekend? We think that’s unlikely, however they will definitely do their bit. Given that they had to put in a good shift in Paris on Wednesday night, Pep will be quietly pleased that his weekend fixture is against a side who have little left to fight for. Palace will put up a fight and Manchester may find themselves slightly fatigued, but should get the job done. City have conceded in six of their last seven, while Palace, for all their poor form, have scored in each of their last five. Our betting tip for this one is to back a City win with both teams to score at odds of 3.25 with Bet365. If you’re feeling brave, we’d back a 2-1 scoreline – as City’s last two away wins have ended with that result.
