Premier League Betting Tips Today
One of the things that makes the Premier League prediction weekend so interesting is that you never know which combination of teams will produce great football. It may not have been on the minds of many as a deeply significant fixture at the start of the season, but we think this one has classic potential.

Put Brentford and Leicester together and you can hope for fireworks, with bookmakers at pains to say who is more likely to walk away a winner. But what makes them so thrilling also makes them tough to predict. So, our Premier League tips predictions are here to help you pick an effective betting market.
Brentford Continue to Silence Doubters
We’d say that Brentford have been consistently underrated since their return to the Premier League after 74 years out of the top flight of English football. Perceptions can be hard to break, but they can also make for flawed Premier League predictions today.
They got off to a flying start with a wonderful 2-0 win over Arsenal, and impressed in their first away Premier League win in generations by the same result against Wolves. They’ve even managed to impress and entertain in stalemates – particularly in their stunning 3-3 battle against Liverpool, which dramatically ended with a brilliant late equaliser by Yoane Wissa. They arguably looked unlucky in defeat in their most recent encounter against Chelsea. Whatever your Premier League predictions, it’s surely undoubtable now that the buzz about Brentford is more than hype.
At the start of the season, you probably wouldn’t imagine we would be heading into this Premier League prediction weekend with Leicester below Brentford – but here we are. It’s fair to say though, this is largely to do with the quality of the Bees rather than the failing of Leicester, who have had an inconsistent season with plenty of bright sparks.
They went up with a quality opener with Wolves, then collapsed in quality losing 4-1 to West Ham, as though their opening games were a microcosm of a seesaw season. Still, Premier League tips betting can’t ignore the Foxes’ fantastic win against Manchester United on the 16th, nor underestimate the return of Vardy as a consistent goal scorer as serious considerations for Premier League predictions today.
Another reason we’re so looking forward to this Premier League prediction weekend fixture is that Brentford’s long stint away from top flight means there’s plenty of fresh matchups to enjoy.
There’s only two games of any serious relevance to today’s Premier League tips predictions, and that’s their duo of meetings in the 2020 and 2021 FA Cup. Both of these were won by the Foxes. Their last meeting before that was back in 1993, so while historically interesting, it probably won’t have much of an impact here. Leicester also won that game and over double the matches ever played between these two, so there’s no doubt who history is favouring.

Our Betting Tip for Today
We’re going to keep things simple here with our betting tip and simply state that we think the best market to back is for Brentford to win. That said, it will surely be a hard fought battle.
Back Brentford by a Small Margin
We weren’t kidding when we said it seems like bookmakers are having a tough time in picking a winner here. Many have their odds of Leicester and Brentford matching, with not a percentage of probability to separate them. This, of course, means that a draw is given serious consideration. That said, we don’t think a stalemate is on the cards based on the fireworks display of football we think is quite likely here. We actually thought going over a fairly high goal amount would make a good pick too.
Ultimately though, we’re backing Brentford because we still think the bookies haven’t quite got to grips with just how good this newly promoted side are just yet. They have the home advantage, for starters, and have performed very consistently against world-class teams. Leicester have struggled to maintain quality little more in our opinion. It could go either way, for sure – especially with the historical advantage of the Foxes– but our Premier League predictions here all points the way of the Bees.
