For our Premier League predictions today, it’s a North London Derby as Arsenal host Tottenham at the Emirates. Tottenham still have the top four within sight, while Arsenal are chasing a Europa League spot – our Premier League tips, predictions and more follow on below.
Inconsistent Arsenal
Arsenal have somewhat turned thing around since December, when it looked all doom and gloom for their Premier League predictions this season. However their season continues to be marked by inconsistency and they currently sit 10th in the table, seven points behind their North London rivals. They have managed to go unbeaten in their last four games, winning three of them and captain Aubameyang has rediscovered his goal scoring form. The back has been an issue for Arteta, as his side have conceded in each of their last nine games – they have only lost three of those games though.
Have Spurs Rediscovered Their Mojo?
Spurs have managed to turn things around since their poor start to the 2021 calendar year. Mourinho’s side have won each of their last 5 games in all competitions, and have scored four goals in three of those games, keeping a clean sheet in five. The back had become an issue for Spurs, so Mourinho will be happy to have it sorted. Their recent goal scoring prowess is thanks in no small part to the recent resurgence of Gareth Bale, who has finally found his starting place in the Spurs side. A top four drive could be in store.
This is a derby that hasn’t been kind to Arsenal recently, and our premier League predictions suggest the woes could continue for the Gunners. They’ve failed to beat Tottenham in their last five, dating back to December 2018. Arteta has lost both of his games in charge to Spurs, however he has yet to take charge of a North London Derby at home, which could inspire confidence. The reverse fixture in December ended in a 2-0 win from Spurs, and came at the back end of Spurs’ top-of-the table run and Arsenal’s crisis mode.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Having analysed the above information, we’re predicting an away win for the Lilywhites of North London
Spurs to Complete Derby Hat-Trick
Both sides have bounced back from small slumps, and it is hard to see who the momentum is with. Spurs have been more emphatic in their last five games, keeping four clean sheets and putting four goals past their opponents three times. Arsenal’s has arguably been slightly choppier, as they followed an impressive away win at third place Leicester with a 1-1 draw at Burnley – they have also conceded in each of their last nine, where Spurs have been keeping clean sheets. Arsenal have, however scored three in each of their last three wins and Aubameyang is in form, so we think they can breach Spurs newfound defensive solidity. Three of the last four derbies have seen goals at both ends, and we’re tipping that trend to continue by backing a Spurs win with both teams to score at generous odds of 5 with Bet365.
