There may be excitement aplenty in Newcastle right now but they still have a tough task of trying to get points off a strong Spurs side on Sunday. It has provided much needed respite for under-fire manager Nuno Espirito Santo. Our Premier League predictions weekend has Spurs pegged as favorites for this one, even if their star man Harry Kane has been misfiring this season.
Newcastle have never really been able to establish a run of wins against Spurs over the years. In fact, they have had little to no joy against the North London side barring a few draws and the odd win over the years. Our Premier League predictions today are certainly backing the side from North London as they will be looking to add yet another win against Newcastle under their belt.

Spurs to get one over on the Magpies
We are excited to see how this Newcastle team evolves over the coming season with a much, much bigger budget to play with. However, for now there is little to like about this squad. They lack energy and they lack a killer instinct in the final third of the pitch. They will need to dig deep on Sunday if they are to try and take anything from this fixture.
With that being said, this Spurs team is not exactly firing on all cylinders right now. There may be a glimmer of hope for the Toon Army, albeit a faint one. Our Premier League tips betting are backing Spurs in this fixture, as the Magpies just don’t have enough firepower.
