Here we are again for our Premier League predictions weekend as we take on another host of exciting and important fixtures. One of the more notable fixtures of the weekend is undoubtedly the Leicester City vs Arsenal fixture.
Leicester and Arsenal have played out a few thrillers in the past with both sides regularly scoring more than 2 goals in this one. Whether or not we’ll see the same kind of fixture remains to be seen but you can take a look at what we think with our Premier League prediction today.
Brendan Rodgers’ team were headed down a stagnant path as they played out a few draws and losses. However, their rampant 2nd half display against Man United 2 weeks ago saw them win a thrilling fixture 4-2. The week that followed saw the Foxes narrowly edge Spartak Moscow to keep their Europa League dreams alive. A particular highlight of that fissure being the 4 goals scored by Zambian Patson Daka. Leicester followed that up with another win at Brentford and a draw in-form Brighton. The Foxes are looking much more like themselves and will no doubt pose a dangerous threat to the Gunners this weekend.
Arteta’s vision beginning to take shapeBelieve it or not, Arsenal are unbeaten in all competitions since the end of August. The Gunners seem to finally have found some resilience in the team and have been grinding out results every week. The spark that lit the flame was undoubtedly their triumphant North London derby day win but since then, they have appeared to go from strength to strength. There was some concern as they played out to 2 draws against Brighton and Crystal Palace but a comfortable win against Villa at home and Leeds in the Carabao Cup has galvanized the team once more. If Arsenal can grab a win at the King Power Stadium on Saturday they can rise as high as 4th in the table. This after all the doom and gloom at the start of the season would be an incredible turn around.
Look, there are a number of different ways to approach this fixture but you need to play it pretty close to the chest. We say this because this has been a fixture in the past that can go either way. As such, our Premier League predictions for this one are that you go for a score draw. If you do want to spice your betting market up a little we would go for either Jamie Vardy or Aubameyang to score first.
This is by no means an easy fixture to call which is why our Premier League tips predictions have had to be research in even greater detailed. Leicester have found themselves again and are coming into this one in very good form. Rodgers’ men are looking sharp going forward once more and with Patson Daka looking dangerous, the Gunners will have a difficult task of keeping the Leicester forwards at bay.
While Leicester are looking good, this is by no means the yellow bellied Arsenal team of the start of the season. They are resilient and their back four are looking well organized. Couple that with a scintillating Emile Smith-Rowe and Leicester will have problems of their own if they don’t turn up on Saturday.
