Isloch Glad to Return Home
Isloch will be pleased that Sunday’s game is being played at their Stadyen Traktar home ground, after they were beaten heavily in their last league outing. That game was away to Shakhtyor and Vitaly Zhukovsky’s Isloch were hammered 4-0.
That result will have come as a disappointment after the two previous games, both at home, ended in victory. In their last two home games, Isloch have beaten Vitebsk 2-0 and Slavia 2-1. Those results should give Zhukovsky’s team plenty of confidence that they can put things right. We expect them to enjoy an emphatic win by at least three clear goals in this game.
Eduard Gradoboev’s Belshina team will be travelling more in hope than expectation to their nation’s capital this weekend. They are without a league win so far in 2020, with their only two league points having come from back-to-back draws away at Neman Grodno and at home to Smolevichy-STI. Those two draws have been followed with two consecutive defeats. A trip to Slutsk on April 26 saw Belshina beaten 3-2, and they lost 3-0 at home to Dinamo Brest last weekend. None of those results will have given them any confidence at all heading into this Sunday’s game.
These two sides have not met for a few years, with their most recent clash having been in July 2017 in a Cup tie. That game, played at Belshina’s home in Bobruisk, ended with Isloch winning 4-1. The last league meetings between the teams were in 2017. Belshina actually performed well that season, winning 3-2 at Isloch. The game played in Bobruisk ended in a goalless draw. Prior to 2016, the teams’ last meeting was in a two-legged Cup tie in 2015. Belshina won the tie 4-1 on aggregate, after winning the first leg at home 3-0.

We think that home advantage will prove to be a big factor in determining the outcome of this match.
