Both Everton and Tottenham have heavyweight managers and neither team are short of money. But both sides have had a barren run of form recently. So read our Premier League predictions today to see which team can break out of the mid-table doldrums!
Everton hoping to break losing streak
Everton have lost their last three Premier League game and have only won one in their last six. As a result, any Premier League prediction weekend tip will have the Toffees down to be in trouble here. Plus the fact that Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are all injured will make it all the more difficult. However, Goodison Park remains an intimidating place for any team to visit, and with formidable attackers like Richarlison and Andros Townsend looking back their best, there’s real hope that Everton can break their losing streak.
First Premier League game of the Conte era
Tottenham have pulled off major coup by getting Antonio Conte in as the new manager. The legendary Italian manager has won pretty much anywhere he has gone and so the majority of Premier League predictions today would have this down as a Tottenham win. However, Conte has inherited a Tottenham team that is stale and dysfunctional. With Harry Kane bang out of form and the increasingly hapless Eric Dier and Ben Davies at the back, it could be yet another traumatic game for the Spurs faithful. However, any team with Son Heung-Min in its ranks will always have a fighting chance.
We can’t give you our Premier League predictions between Everton and Tottenham without mentioning that remarkable FA Cup game of last season. This was an unbelievable game that saw Everton beating Tottenham 5-4. Such an outcome was all the more remarkable as the previous meetings between the two teams had been fairly drab low-scoring affairs. Thankfully the FA Cup game seemed to spark something new between Tottenham and Everton as the last Premier League game was a tight 2-2 draw. But with two new high-profile managers, Sunday’s game should at least offer a fair amount of tactical expertise in comparison to what’s gone before.

This is a match that features two of the most famous names in English football. Interestingly, Tottenham have had the upper hand with 68 wins compared to 57 for Everton. There have been 57 draws between the two teams. Perhaps not enough to base your Premier League tips predictions on, but good to know all the same!

Our Betting Tip for Today
All of the above has helped us make a Premier League prediction weekend punters should take note of. We think that the game between Everton and Tottenham will end up as a scoring draw. After all, both sides are good and bad in equal amounts and so it’ll be close, but there’ll be no overall winner.
Score draw between Everton and Spurs
If you read most Premier League tips betting on the home team might seem like a good idea. This is especially so when Everton are playing at the fortress that is Goodison Park. However, Everton are a bit of a shambles at the moment. Much of this has been down to some bad luck with injuries, but the Toffees still look a long way off what they were at the start of the season.Conte coming in as the Spurs boss is an inspired move, but he still has a Tottenham team that is lacking confidence. As such, we think that both teams are equally as bad as each other. So we’re expecting lots of defensive mistakes, plenty of goals and perhaps even the occasional sending off. Not one for the purists, but decent footy entertainment! Go to Betfred and get market-leading odds of 3.40 for a draw.
