For our FA Cup predictions tips today, we’re focussing on a blue battle on Merseyside, as Everton host Manchester at Goodison. Can City keep the quadruple dream alive? Read on to find our Premier League tips, betting info and predictions for this quarter final.
Everton Slumping Slightly
The Toffees league performances have been inconsistent in 2021 so far, and they go into this tie with City off the back of two straight losses. One thing that bodes well for Everton’s FA Cup predictions, is the fact that they have had a full week to prepare for this match, whereas their opponents played a Champions League match in Budapest on Tuesday night. The biggest blow for Everton is the fact that keeper Jordan Pickford suffered a muscle Injury against Burnley on Saturday and has been ruled out for at least a month.
Quadruple Alive for City
Manchester City have won three games on the bounce in all competitions since their derby defeat to Manchester United ended their 21 game winning streak. Frighteningly for a team with such squad depth, there are no big injuries to report for City, with Sergio Augero slowly being eased back into the followed following a lengthy period on the sidelines. City have already one this competition once under Pep in the 18/19 season and our overall FA Cup predictions could very well see them lift England’s oldest trophy for a second time under the Spaniard.
Manchester City have notched up a run of six straight wins against Everton in the Premier League, with the last draw between the sides taking place in August 2017. Everton haven’t beaten City since January 2017, but it was a memorable one, as they thumped Guardiola’s side 4-0 at Goodison. The sides haven’t met in the FA Cup in living memory, but when they last met in a two legged tie in the League Cup in 2016, the sides recorded a win each, with City progressing with an agg score of 4-3.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Having analysed the above information, our FA Cup predictions today all point to a Manchester City win on Saturday evening.
City to Keep the Quadruple Dream Alive
The sides last met at Goodison less than a month ago, with City running out fairly comfortable with a 3-1 away victory. The defeat did inspire Everton to go one a three game winning run, which included their first win at Anfield for over 30 years, however their last two results have shown a slump, with defeats to Everton and Burnley. City on the other hand, have managed to shrug off their derby defeat as a mere blip, having won three and keeping two clean sheets. On balance, not much has changed since the last meeting to tip the odds in anyone’s favour, therefore we’re predicting a repeat and backing a City win with both teams to score at odds of 2.88 with Bet365. Our exact score calls? Either another 3-1 or a 2-1 win for City.
