For our Premier League predictions today, we’re focussing on Saturday’s clash in South London as Crystal Palace host Everton. Both sides have won both of their opening Premier League games this season, and so it looks like something’s got to give for one of these sides.
After getting their season off to a good start with a routine 1-0 home to Southampton, the Eagles pulled off something of a shock away win against Manchester United. The win was something that few Premier League predictions experts foreseen. Unsurprisingly, Wilfred Zaha was the man to clinch it for Palace, as he bagged a brace against his former club. However, Crystal Palace’s goal scoring record still remains low if we look back to last season. The Eagles managed to net just 15 times in their 19 home games, so Roy Hodgeson will hope they can bring last week’s away scoring form to Selhurst Park.
Everton fresh off an impressive goalfest
After starting the season off by seeing out a 1- 0 away win against Spurs with a strong performance, Everton last weekend returned to Goodison Park in Emphatic fashion. In their first home outing of the season, the Toffees put 5 past West Brom, with several players shining in a stellar performance. The Carlo Ancelotti era looks to have properly started, with the squad newly bolstere with a number of new signings. The most impressive signing in the opening two games has been colombian superstar James. Many Premier League tips & betting experts are already back Everton to break into the top 6.
The Toffees are unbeaten in their last 11 matches against the Eagles, having won 5 and drawn 6. To make matters worse for Crystal Palace, they haven’t managed a home win against Everton since 1992. Their most recent victory against the blue half of Liverpool was a 3-2 win at Goodison back in September 2014. This same fixture last season ended in a 0-0 draw, with Everton winning the return fixtures 3-1 at Goodison in February. Despite Palace’s good start to the season, Everton are looking strong, so our Premier League predictions today point to The Eagles’ woes continuing against Everton.

Our Betting Tip for Today
Having analysed the above information, our Premier League predictions this week point to a slender win for the toffees on Saturday. We’ve detailed how our experts think this one will play out below.
Everton to make it 12 unbeaten against Palace
Everton were certainly emphatic in their 5-2 win over West Brom, with Jamez looking sharp in midfield and Calvert-Lewin netting his first ever hat-trick for the Toffees. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace’s away win at Old Trafford was equally impressive, even if a dodgy VAR decision and a penalty retake gifted them their 2nd goal. This weekend however, the chances of either side repeat such a goal haul looks unlikely. Traditionally, games at Selhurst park are low scoring affairs, as last season they averaged just 1.84 goals per game. Despite Palace’s strong start, this newly strengthened Everton truly look like a force to be reckoned with, so we expect them to come out on top this Saturday.
Our betting tip for this week is for Everton to win by a single goal. You can place this bet on odds of 3.6 with Bet365.
