If you yourself have checked The Voice betting odds for 2025 and fancy taking part, there are a few things you need to know about wagering on ITV’s flagship springtime show.
- The show broadcasts annually from January-April on ITV
- A companion show, The V Room, is broadcast online
- The Voice pairs hopeful vocalists with successful mentors
Which voice UK coach to win? You can get odds with that!
Of course, as with most reality shows, the most popular market for The Voice UK betting odds is on the winner. However, there are other markets based on the show’s format – most notably on the winning mentor or coach. The coaches make for some of the most exciting analyses when betting for The Voice UK, as their influence can be fairly substantial. On watching the early Blind Audition shows, you may feel that an exceptionally talented singer looks like a runaway winner – but as you continue to watch, you’ll see the difference that a respected coach can make.

Who Are The Coaches On The Voice UK?
As of 2025, the coaches – and judges for the early audition shows – were Welsh soul veteran Sir Tom Jones, English pop star and former reality contestant Olly Murs, and two American superstars in the form of former Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am and honey-voiced diva Jennifer Hudson. Murs is the most recent introduction to the show, having replaced Bush lead singer Gavin Rossdale. Murs is the only mentor not to have coached a single winner, with Jones having coached two, while Hudson and “Will” each have one past winner to their names. You can expect their varying levels of success to influence The Voice betting odds 2025 – an experienced, canny coach can make wiser decisions.

Can You Predict The Final Public Vote and Upset The Bookies?
Before a series of The Voice even begins broadcasting, you can find odds on the winning mentor for the upcoming season. Based on past show performance and perception of the judge’s popularity and influence, The Voice betting odds 2025 naturally favour one of the four rights from the outset. These odds may then change when each judge, at the end of auditions, picks their “Team” – a set of ten singers they deem their best shots at winning the contest. Although it’s wise to assume the bookies know what they’re doing, don’t assume that The Voice betting odds will be reflected in the final result – there have been a few upsets over the years.
- A good mentor will pick songs that suit their singers
- While judges pick the contestants, viewers vote for a winner
- To win, a singer needs talent and mass public appeal
Tips To Improve Your Chances Of Betting Success On The Voice UK
Although The Voice is, on the face of it, a singing competition, there’s a lot more to it than that – so it is worth remembering that a singer who blew everyone away with a superb audition and who has clear talent may end up leaving early and not being seen again until, in the base case scenario, they represent the UK and feature in Eurovision odds in future. As well as singing might alone, there is a strong feeling of a popularity contest in The Voice, and it’s not just the popularity of the contestant you need to bear in mind. The following tips will help you make sense of The Voice’s latest odds and make the smartest bets as a result.

A Big-name Mentor Doesn’t Guarantee a Win
As part of one of the biggest hip-hop acts in musical history and an influence on the career of UK singer Cheryl Cole, Will.i.am may seem like the obvious choice to consistently lead The Voice odds. However, despite being the only ever-present coach across the show’s entire run, he has coached just one singer to victory – Jermain Jackman in 2014. The previous year it was widely felt his mentee Leah McFaul was the standout contestant – but Will’s creative choices were believed to be a factor in her surprise loss to Andrea Begley.

Look For The “Story” In a Contestant’s Path To The Final
The winner of a TV singing show is not always the act most equipped for success. Remember when digesting The Voice betting odds that a public vote decides these contests – so a contestant who has overcome adversity can sing their way into the final, and into the public’s hearts, to win. Equally, a talented but arrogant contestant can end up losing out either because they didn’t listen to their coach or because the public didn’t take to them.
Song Choice Makes a Big Difference
2018’s winner Ruti Olajugbagbe was not the favourite at odds to win The Voice. Going into the final, mentored by Jones, he was in the last two with The Voice’s latest odds favouring Will’s contestant Donel Mangena. With both artists set to duet with their mentors, Mangena and Will collaborated on a cover of Usher’s “OMG”, which was decent but not great. Their rivals fared much better: Jones and Olajugbagbe’s decision to sing Louis Armstrong’s feelgood classic “What a Wonderful World” is widely deemed to have swung the contest in the final public vote.
The eventual winner of a TV singing show like The Voice can be hard to predict – as we’ve seen, it’s not always the person felt to be the best singer. It is useful, whether you’re checking out the UK version or even if you’re looking at The Voice USA betting, to remember that multiple factors can influence the public’s decision and that what we see on TV is not necessarily what we would hear from other people watching the show, so keep a close eye on social media – in particular – to see what viewers really think of the contestants.
Should You Trust The Voice Odds To Win 2025?
While the favourite to win The Voice might well be the most likely winner, the bookies’ opinion shouldn’t be your only guide when making a bet. Bear in mind the above advice, as well as anything you read on bettingtips.net, little nuggets you might pick up by watching The V Room, and also the reactions from the public across social media and online forums. It’s neither the bookmakers, nor the judges, who eventually decide who will be The Voice winner, and betting based on their opinions alone is unlikely to produce a positive result. Get a feel for public opinion, however, and you’ll be on the right track.
